Did you know pet cats get 32% less treats daily than dogs? This disparity is what we call the Treat Gap and we’re HISSED about it.

That’s why we partnered with Temptations cat food to create the Treat Me Like A Dog Campaign. On National Respect You Cat Day we kicked off the program to bring awareness to this injustice and get more treats into paws. No felines were disrespected during this production as
we harnessed the power of AI to create this crew of barking mad cats, dressed as dogs. They grabbed attention and demand to be “treated” just as often as their dog counterparts.

These grumpy kitties hit the road through paid, owned, and earned media to inspire cat parents to purchase Temptations treats and end the Treat Gap.


The results were purr-fect with 4MM+ treats delivered, +3.9% YOY sales, and 94% re-purchase intent.

Through pawprietary our team found households that buy both dog and cat food, but ONLY dog treats. We sent these “treat-gappers” custom boxes with Temptations sample packs, infographics educating on the treat gap, and dog costumes so their cats could take part in the campaign through UGC.
