Many young adults are in the market for newer, used cars, but they hate the traditional car buying process. 61% feel as though they are taken advantage of and 52% feel anxious or uncomfortable at the dealership. Most consumers look to social media sites and reviews to inform their car buying decision. On these sites many share negative stories about how they have been taken advantage of by car dealerships and shady salesmen. Avis will flip the script and turn the lights on dark, dealership "scaries" by offering a better way to buy cars.
